The story of the Gratitude quilt
I associate gratitude with kindness, peace of mind and optimism.
Peace of mind comes with the ability to put our worries in perspective, as if blown away by the wind. Similarly, gratitude and kindness often introduce a deep sense of optimism in our lives, which itself acts as a backdrop to new opportunities.
This image inspired me to design the Gratitude quilt using vibrant, uplifting colours. The windmill blocks represent the beneficial wind blowing all worries away and the flying geese blocks symbolise the promise of multiple new opportunities. So this design offers an extra dose of feel good factor, both for you and the recipient.
